Families or individuals who opt to drink spring bottled water
can have their water, contained in a dispenser of choice, brought
to their doorstep regularly via home delivery.
Why do some people choose to drink spring bottled water? This
popular type of bottled water is perceived as natural and fresh,
since it is known to be derived from a natural source, and is also
often describes as great-tasting.
For water to be defined as spring bottled water, it has to have
been derived from an underground formation, from which water flows
naturally to the surface of the earth. The water must be collected
at the spring itself, or from a borehole that taps the underground
formation nourishing the spring. If the water is derived by
employing an external force, it's important that it retain the same
physical properties of the water that flowed naturally from the
spring.
Examples of spring bottled water brands are:
1.) Evian, a rather upscale brand that offers water originating
from the northern French Alps. The water is obtained from an
aquifer sustained by rainfall and snowmelt, and is filtrated though
the ground's sand and clay.
2.) Poland Spring, which offers water with a "legendary great
taste", contributed by the fact that the water contains a light
blend of minerals. Their water is created by a retreating glacier,
with aquifers in the state of Maine. The aquifers are fed by water
from letting snow and rainfall, and percolates through layers of
fine sand and gravel.
3.) Deer Park Natural Spring Water, has water originally derived
from a natural spring located above sea level in the Appalachian
Mountains, outside the town of Deer Park, Maryland. Water is
obtained from this spring which is surrounded by woodlands, to give
the water a fresh taste.
There are a number of other spring bottled water brands around.
By browsing the internet or checking at a local supermarket,
consumers can choose among the many brands.
Most of these offer various dispensers in different sizes and
styles. Dispensers can contain an amount as large as 500 gallons,
or even more upon request. These can be bought or rented.
Dispensers can have temperature regulators, or can be in a specific
color or design.
Almost all Spring bottled water brands, including Evian, Poland
Spring, and Deer Park Natural Spring Water, also provide home
delivery services. This can be arranged by going to a local store,
calling the company, or going to their website. Buyers can specify
how often delivery should be done, and what dispensers or
containers to use.
